Welcome to The Upper Story located in the Holly Neighborhood, a few blocks from E 6th St or Downtown East Austin.
The Upper Story provides access to the beautiful Holly Neighborhood for morning walks, including a short walk to Butler Trail and Lady Bird Lake as well as coffee shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries and more.
The house is a duplex, but you will have the UPPER STORY to yourself. The side yard offers privacy and is an oasis with a large outdoor dining table and fire pit. We always offer a front deck with your own personal bar seats overlooking E Cesar Chavez offering great people watching.
The specifics: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Each bedroom has designated vanities. Fully equipped kitchen with Miele appliances. Stylish living room with flat screen television as well as flat screens in each bedroom. Gated yard with fire pit, outdoor dining table and front deck for great people watching.

Pop Up Shop
We are located in the heart of East Austin. The house faces Lynn Street which is a main pedestrian throughfare for the Holly neighborhood in accessing the local businesses on E Cesar Chavez and E 6th St. Set up a pop up storefron facing the street for walk up traffic or utilize the kitchen and grill and bring your dining experience to the neighborhood.
Friends and Co-Workers
We can easily host 50 people outdoors with a front patio/bar overlooking the street and entertainment area as well as a large side yard and outdoor dining area. Our space can accommodate a variety of set ups including speaker events, pop up restaurants and other food and dining experiences.
Small Gatherings
With a full kitchen, firepit, outdoor grill, garden area with 10 person outdoor dining table and front deck, The Upper Story is the place to host your celebratory brunch, dinner and drinks.
