Thursday: South Congress

  1. Austin Motel for Sunset Pool Session, drinks at Pool Bar or head to nearby San Jose Hotel or South Congress Hotel (check out 1st Thursdays at South Congress Hotel)
  2. Go See the bats at the S Congress Bridge (coming from the South go underneath the bridge to the right, grass hill for viewing, people have their preferences though between underneath and standing on the bridge)
  3. Stay on South Congress and do dinner at Perla’s, Home Slice or Lucky Robot
  4. Finish your night with live music and dancing at either Continental Club or C Boys

Friday

Friday: East Austin:

  1. Start out with breakfast at Austin Classic Juan in a Million
  2. Walk down to the park and go on a walk around Lake Austin, head to either Austin Paddle Shack, Live Love Paddle or Epic Sup to rent a kayak or paddle board (for alternative option further west try The Rowing Dock, use the former options to stay East) beat the crowds during the day or for more social option check out The Sandbar later in the day or over the weekend
  3. Stretch out and unwind with yoga at Practice Yoga on E 6th St
  4. Grab lunch at Nixta Taqueria or Sour Duck
  5. Play some pickleball at Pan Am Park or rent bikes and explore Govalle Park/Walnut Creek Trail
  6. Before dinner drinks at Shangri-La and Happy Hour/Dinner at Licha’s
  7. Grab a drink at Milonga Room Speakeasy or Ah Sing Den
  8. Party the night away in the East 6th Street social entertainment district (Whistlers, Liberty Bar, White Horse, Volstead and more)
